2006 NAB AFL Draft Pick No. 66
2007 AFL Debut
Malcolm is a super quick onballer who has good skills. Originally from Tiwi Island, Malcolm relocated to Sydney to attend St Ignatius Riverview. He unfortunately endured an injury riddled 2006, but toured South Africa with the AFL Indigenous Team and was also ranked number 1 for agility and speed out of 110 players tested at the State Screening Sessions across the country.
In 2006, Malcolm was drafted by the Western Bulldogs and seems to suit Rodney Eade's quick style of game with his speed and agility.
Malcolm debuted for the Dogs in round 12 of 2007 picking up 10 valuable possessions. His professionalism, skills and huge leap will see him develop further in 2008 and after a full pre-season should push for senior selection. The coaching staff expects Malcolm to be a regular member of the Bulldogs line-up and will be hoping to use him as a small forward and through the midfield.
